No. You will only need the phone to receive the activation OTP. Once you are verified, we don’t need the phone anymore for WhatsApp. You can continue to use it for making regular phone calls, receiving SMS text messages etc. But you can’t use WhatsApp on that phone with that number, again. A conversation is defined as the messages sent within the 24-hour session window. There are two types of conversations.
1. Business-initiated conversation : a conversation considered as Business-initiated conversation when the message send by the business is delivered to the user.
2. User-initiated conversation : a conversation considered as User-initiated conversation when a business respond to a user’s message.

The business will get charged only when they respond to the user-initiated message. The charge will be for the first message sent by the business. This will then open the 24-hour window to exchange as many messages as needed by the business and user.
The business will be charged when a pre-approved template message is delivered to the user. The charge will be only for the first message sent and the charge will be based on the recipient country and category of the pre-approved template message.

- Utility conversations – Facilitate a specific, agreed-upon request or transaction or update to a customer about an ongoing transaction, including post-purchase notifications and recurring billing statements
- Authentication conversations – Enable businesses to authenticate users with one-time passcodes, potentially at multiple steps in the login process (e.g., account verification, account recovery, integrity challenges)
- Marketing conversations – Include promotions or offers, informational updates, or invitations for customers to respond / take action. Any conversation that does not qualify as utility or authentication is a marketing conversation.

Once both business and user has send a message, there is no any limit of messages the customer or the business can send with in that 24hour window. But if the business sends any pre approved template from a different category it will start a new business initiated conversation window with the pricing of that particular category.
If a customer sends a message to the business after a conversation window has closed, it will become a user-initiated conversation only if the business responds to it. Otherwise, it will not be billed.
Conversations are not charged when users message businesses using call-to-actions buttons in Ads that Click to WhatsApp or Facebook Page call-to-action buttons on devices running Android or iOS. Free entry point conversations last 72 hours and can only be user-initiated. Any subsequent conversations between the same user and business that are not initiated from a free entry point are billable.
The first 1,000 conversations each month are free. This way your business can build experiences your customers will love before having to pay. Each WhatsApp Business account (WABA) will receive 1,000 free conversations per month. These conversations can be either user or business-initiated. Even if a WABA has multiple numbers attached, the free tier threshold is still 1000, as the free tier is provided at the WABA level. The free tier is refreshed monthly, based on the timezone associated with the WABA.

To be approved for the WhatsApp Cloud API to use with Libromi connect, a business must have a registered business with a website or active Facebook page and a WhatsApp number approved for use with Libromi Connect. Additionally, the business must provide a business license with proof of address and phone number for verification. This verification process is separate from obtaining the green tick mark, which is only granted to notable brands recognized by WhatsApp and Meta.
Your number will not be blocked as long as you comply with WhatsApp policies. The most important policy to follow is to not send bulk messages to unknown people, as this is considered spamming and is illegal. Additionally, you should not sell or promote hate, restricted goods and services. With Libromi Connect, you can monitor the quality of your phone number and plan marketin strategies to avoid any risk of having your number blocked.
Message templates are message formats for common reusable notifications a business may want to send. Businesses must use Message Templates for sending messages outside the 24-hour customer service window to any customers. Your Message Templates will be reviewed by WhatsApp to ensure they do not violate WhatsApp policies

While there is no specific limit set by Meta or WhatsApp, the quality of the conversations (without spamming) will determine the limit. Typically, you will start with a limit of less than 1000 conversations for the first 24 hours and after sending messages to 1000 unique contacts, the limit will increase to 10000. After reaching 10000 unique contacts, the limit will further increase to 100000 and so on. It’s important to note that Libromi Connect sets certain limits based on the pricing package.
